What about other apps like 50 Languages, languagecourse.net and Mondly? I use them and are great. In those only languagecourse.net has you learn from English some words, phrases or short sentences to the target language, has even more languages than Twitter in the search supports, and if anyone is learning English they only get the words, phrases or sentences in English. Mondly and 50 Languages probably come from the same company because the sentences in the lessons are the same in most cases. And, on Mondly you can learn 34 languages and using any of the other available languages to learn, not just from English. I can now converse with anyone native in French and German thanks to Mondly. I don’t know why Mondly is not as popular as Duolingo, but sadly and worse, it seems vastly underrated. I want to now add Romanian, Russian, Portuguese (perhaps the Brazilian one) and Mandarin Chinese to Mondly because I want to learn those languages too. I want to also learn Albanian but Mondly has no Albanian yet. And 50 Languages not only has a phrase book for 100 free lessons to fluently at least learn short sentences in your target language(s), but also has a vocabulary section with 42 different topics so far and pictures on each of the 42 different topics (for example, there is an office section and has pictures and vocabulary of office things like a notebook [of writing, of course], a stapler, a folder and a copy). And you can now learn more than 50 languages for free on 50 Languages, and most of them have the sound for the phrase book, vocabulary, numbers from 1 to 100 and alphabet to hear how the letters, words, phrases and sentences are pronounced. And, on 50 Languages you can learn any of the languages available there using any of the languages there available too. I also recommend these language learning apps for any language learner, and they are compatible in all Android and Apple mobile phones and tablets. Only 50 Languages here, by the way, has Albanian available.

I love these tips. It's definitely a better use of your time to get more from the apps you're already using, than to add the latest language learning app to your phone and then forget about it a couple of weeks later. Will share this on social media!

I would add HelloTalk, mentioned too rarely, as it's mainly very popular in Asia.

Podcasts and Discord are my favourite. The first one because of different topics, accents and points of view.
Great article! I'm learning french at the moment and nordvpn really helped me to access frenchTV. It works every time and I have no issues whatsoever. Would recommend for someone who wants not just to access geo-restricted sites but also for streaming netflix, their servers in usa works. It's already not expensive but I have a coupon code save75 if someone is interested to try it out.
